Our story, our mission, and the people behind the program.
Heart Warriors is an official health program of the Local Government Unit of Bago City, Negros Occidental. Established in 2021, the program was created in response to the growing prevalence of cardiovascular diseases among Bago City residents, particularly among the elderly and low-income communities.
The program provides free cardiovascular health services including ECG screenings, blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol testing, medicine assistance, and health education seminars — all at no cost to qualified beneficiaries.
Through partnerships with local health centers, barangay officials, and volunteer medical professionals, Heart Warriors has reached over 1,200 beneficiaries across all 24 barangays of Bago City.
